According to game site Wasted on Fortnite, Özil has played 5.221 games of Fortnite. Arsenal-fan Tom Todhunter posted a tweet (which has been removed unfortunately) with a calculation of that 5.221 games that the German professional football player is gaming for an average of 5 hours per day.

The midfielder of Tottenham Hotspur became extremely popular when he start playing Fortnite online on Twitch, a website where all fans can watch him play. He became so popular that even the supporters of rivals Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are sitting in front of their screen to watch how Dele Alli is playing Fortnite with his friends. Despite the success on Twitch, Alli was almost exiled because he took his shirt off while gaming, something that is strictly forbidden according to the rules of Twitch.
