Throwback Thursday: Special street football tournament takes over the Streets of Lima!

A night camping on the side of the football field to get the best spot. Paying two dollars for a view from a balcony of the apartment complexes around the football field. This is what happens when the annually street football tournament takes place in the El Provenir district in the Peruvian city Lima. Street football is very popular here and we are doing a throwback to the tournament that took place more than a year and a half ago and is called Little World Cup. 56 teams participated on this special tournament and they all took their most fanatic fans with them. There is a big chance that there will be used violence and there could be thrown something like chicken bones…

Where do you think that tournaments like the one in Peru should take place more often? Perhaps you already know a place where this also takes place? Let us know in the comments!
